1. RUNSHEET DESIGN

With the experience of over 500 weddings, we will ask you questions about the plan you have for the wedding day: what programmes you are intending to have and what the details are so that we can accurately estimate for you the timings for each section and how your day will flow.

This is very important because having a good idea of your timings affect all your service bookings: If you give inaccurate timings to your suppliers it causes higher costs (either because you have paid for more than you need, or you have underpaid and to pay more) and it may even lead to key suppliers not being available
.
 


2. SERVICE CHECKLIST

When we meet with you, we will help you run through a complete, exhaustive, detailed checklist of absolutely everything that you might potentially need to do for your wedding. In addition, we will also help you run through a styling checklist based on your ceremony and reception venues.

Because we are experts in wedding venues, there are many specific details that you wouldn't think about if you were just using a generic checklist. Many couples assume certain items are included when they are not.

We have saved our couples thousands of dollars by helping them avoid costly mistakes by going through this checklist, as well as many sleepless nights wondering whether you have missed anything in your wedding planning.


3. BUDGETING

As we go through your service checklist, we will also assist you with budgeting.

In our budgeting service, we will take into account of your big picture plan (based on the runsheet), and your preferences. If you don't have a budget in mind, we will give you a few budget ranges to work with and give you an idea of what you will get for each budget range.

After the budgeting session, there will be no more confusion and stress as to how much more you have to spend.

After meeting with you in our initial meeting, if you like what we hear, we will ask you whether you want us to prepare a proposal for you to consider and if so, we will prepare one and then organise another time to meet  in several weeks, giving you sufficient time for serious consideration.

In addition, we also provide as standard a 3 day cooling off period even after signing the contract.
We make referrals to our partners whom we trust and provide a high level of service. We do not receive commissions with most of our partners, but will inform you of any commissions that we receive for referrals outside of our packages.

At Event Weddings, we will help you run through an exhaustive list of everything you need for the big day. Most Wedding Planners charge a set wedding planning fee plus a finder’s fee of 10-20%. In the final meeting, we will go through all the details to make sure everything is on track. Couples may mix and match their perfect wedding services package with VIP access prices. There are 5 structured meetings where we will help you go through a to-do list of everything that you need to do and how to do it. We provide tailored advice because no two weddings are the same. It includes: (1) initial meeting: an overview of the wedding planning process, (2) Roadmaps meeting: an overview of what needs to be done and when, (3) Programme meeting: designing your programme and timings for the big day, (4) Details meeting: mainly focusing on decorations, styling and design and (5) Final meeting: where we ensure all your details are looked after. Sometimes couples are just stuck with something that is complicated, they have asked around and got different answers and it is just difficult to make a decision. This is where our stand alone wedding consultation comes in. Each consultation lasts up to 3 hours of very detailed wedding planning and consultation. This service can be used with free wedding planning services and is about helping you solve issues in your wedding planning process. (1) The roadmaps meeting is at the beginning of your wedding planning process where we will help you plan out what you need to do with your wedding planning process. Everyone's plan is different and we help you determine the best for you. (2) Our runsheet drafting service will help you put together your programme for your entire day and the reception. This can be one of the most complicated but overlooked parts of the wedding. Most problems that occur in weddings happen because of bad programme planning. Planning time poorly can have immediate costs such as time extensions required with service suppliers. (3) The pre-wedding checklist occurs about a month before the wedding day. Many couples are nervous about what they may have forgotten leading up to the wedding day. Put your fears to rest by meeting with us. It is important for a wedding to be well planned, but any event planner will tell you that the unexpected is always expected. The on-site coordination service will be a step ahead of you to ensure that everything runs smoothly, and that the best decision is made when the unexpected happens.
