offer a return to tradition full wedding
ceremony service which includes: a celebrant
to lodge all your legal paperwork and host
the legal section of your wedding ceremony,
as well as a multilingual MC (host) &
wedding coordinator.
TRADITIONAL WEDDING CEREMONY SERVICE
In 2016,
Event Weddings has re-introduced the Traditional
Wedding Ceremony Service that is common in many
parts of the world and in most church weddings but
forgotten in modern civil ceremonies in Australia.
The Traditional Wedding Ceremony Service by Event
Weddings is a complete service for everything you
require for a perfect wedding ceremony. The service
includes a multilingual MC to host most of your
wedding ceremony, as well as a authorised marriage
celebrant to focus on all the legal work. The
service includes 3 main areas:

Ceremony Coordination
The ceremony coordinator is usually doubled up as
the MC. Service includes (1) Wedding ceremony
rehearsal, (2) Confirming and drafting full runsheet
for wedding ceremony, (3) Ensuring correct set up of
all ceremony decorations, (4) Briefing with all
parties, (celebrant, bride and groom, witnesses,
parents, suppliers) on rundown, (5) Ensure arrival
of all suppliers and important guests, (6)
Coordinate with driver for car arrival, (7) Assist
marching in of bridal party, (8) Guests policing as
required, (9) Coordinating of Post-ceremony photos,
(10) General timekeeping

Host/ Master of Ceremonies
In addition to the ceremony coordination, the MC
will also complete most of the hosting work at the
wedding ceremony. The MC's work includes welcoming
guests, going through housekeeping, announcement of
bridal entry as well as the most important
personalised love story and meaning of marriage part
of the ceremony. This will come through an extensive
interview with the couple to go through important
things that they would like to share with their
guests on the day.

Celebrant
The celebrant's role is concerned with all the legal
elements of the wedding ceremony. but the staging
role at the wedding ceremony is minimal. The
celebrant will meet with the couple between 30 days
to 18 months of the wedding day to ensure all legal
papers are completed, to check for the validity of
the proposed marriage and the lodge all the
appropriate papers to the government. On the wedding
day, he will host the wedding vow (which is read by
the couple), and will oversee the signing of papers
by the bride and groom along with the witnesses. He
will also make the pronouncement of marriage. The
celebrant is only responsible for the legal aspects
and is not involved with any of the staging elements
of the wedding ceremony.
